I’m a road, trail and obstacle course runner. I’m a cyclist. I’m an aspiring triathlete. Overall, I’m fitness junkie.
This blog is about tracking my workouts, cataloging my expereiences and reviewing my gear.
Currently, I’m a BibRave Pro and Balega Impi Ambassador.
Since the beginning of 2015, I’ve lost 35 pounds and over 10% body fat.
After getting married and buying a house, I fell into bad habits and got lazy. Thanks to my loving wife, she got me back to hitting the gym on the regular. It became part of my daily routine.
Once the warm weather came about, she got me to join her on some short runs.
I fell (back) in love.
Now, my life is all about 30 mile training weeks, cross training, cycling and keeping in shape. This is the life I want to lead.
Over the last 10 years, I’ve also battled with weird stomach issues and bothersome problems that kept me worrying, concerned and in and out of the doctor’s office and hospitals.
Again, spearheaded by my wonderful wife, we finally figured out what was wrong.
I suffer from gastroparisis, gastric ulcers, cyclical vomiting syndrome and a generally sensitive subject.
I’ve since figured out how and when to eat, which I will dive into throughout this site. I’ll give as many of the dirty details possible, in the hope that I can help others out there with the same or similar issues.
